About 5/16" Steel Ammo

Pour out a bottle of 5/16" steel and you're holding the round that's taken over the target line. These are precision steel ball bearings, uniform in weight and shape, exactly what accuracy needs. Round ammo flies true; out-of-round ammo doesn't. With steel, every shot leaves the pouch the same way.

Today's competition size. Lighter and faster than 3/8", 5/16" has become the modern match standard: flat-flying and forgiving, ideal for target work, training, and tight groups on paper. Because it's light and fast, it shoots almost flat, no arc to hold over and no heavy band to muscle, so you can point dead-on and hit.

Steel is endlessly reusable. Fire it into a catch box, scoop the same rounds up, drop them back in the bottle, and keep shooting.

A note on shipping: steel ammo is available in North America only, since its weight makes overseas shipping impractical.

Counts & Reuse

Steel ammo ships in reusable poly bottles, so you can refill as you go:

• Sample size: about 145 rounds, perfect for trying it
• Full bottle: about 600 rounds for regular shooting
• Reusable: fire it into a catch box and the same rounds load right back up
